Great hotel for a decent price. Location next to Vondel Park which is a lovely park. Easy to buy travel tickets at reception and travel to the centre of Amsterdam. Small rooms but clean. Nice area and quiet during the night.

My room wasnt cleaned when i checked in, there were pieces of dust on the floor and sheets were dirty too.
I would not recommend this hotel, the staff was not friendly too.

Room was not clean when checked in and the recepionist didnt even apologize. CLeaner said they are short of staff, probably not even the bed was changed before we arrived.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice restaurant called Bond just opposite the hotel, on the next corner you will find Cafe Willemspark, which is a good atmosphere bar with a nice terrace.

stayed three nights in this hotel in a very quiet zone, not far (100 m.) from the tram (20 minutes) to Central Station and not far from the park and from the Van Gogh Museum (ten minutes walk). I had a large room, nice and very clean. I recommend it.

Very good location and helpful staff
Located close to the Van Gogh and National Museums and adjacent to a very attractive park. Friendly and helpful staff at reception.

The hotel is very well located close to the Van Gogh and National Museums and easily accessible by tram from Amsterdam Central Station.
The room was comfortable but a little small for a superior room and the bathroom and toilet are situated in the middle of the room with an open top and frosted glass only partly obscuring the windows so it is not very private.
The receptionist was very helpful providing tram tickets and also tickets for the museum though was not very knowledgeable about the local area.
We were very satisfied with our stay and would use the hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Buy museum tickets from hotel reception to save time queueing at the museums - it costs the same. It is also worth buying a one-day tram ticket for 7.50 euros - but you must validate it each time you get on and off a tram.

Lovely hotel near the Vondelpark and the main city

Nice hotel located next to the Vondelpark. A short walk to the main city centre. The hotel staff is friendly and willing to help you with anything. The room we stayed in was modern and big for Amsterdam standard. Would stay there again.

Vondelpark on a summers evening.
