Nice Hotel, close to city centre

proximity to train station and city centre, affordable rooms
8.3
We are a young couple (24) and used to backpacking, we stayed for 1 night. The room is pretty small, but clean and comfortable. We were looking for a cheap room (since Amsterdam Hotels are quite expensive) and this hotel was exactly what we wanted. Cheap, close to the city centre and close to the main train station. Surprisingly it was pretty quiet at night!

Good location, alright hotel room

Location, nearby shops, nothing terrible
4.3
Do not expect any superb facilities because it is a one star hotel after all. Each room has a sink and not much space to walk in. Beds were decent, and surprisingly quite comfy. Each floor shares a toilet. Floors are slanted and carpets are old. Steps are difficult to climb. But my stay was free from problems- it's an alright hotel if you're on a budget and not expecting anything fancy or looking for great comfort. Location is really really good because the area is quiet and the stretch of boutiques and cafes along the street are worth checking out.

First Amsterdam Experience!

Location is near to Amsterdam Centraa Station

the best point is the location that is about 10 mins walk from the central station and convenient. trams station are along the way and shops for eateries can be found along the streets. rooms can be small for couples and no elevators so need to climb up the stairs. bathrooms are shared but housekeeping standard are satisfactory and spacious. cosy reception corner with tv just opposite the front desk and you can deposit your luggages with the hotel upon check out.
Hotel Feature Tip: Request for lower floors if you have plenty and bucky luggages.

Great location but tiny rooms

Location

There is no elevators and the stairs are very narrow. I was assigned a room on the 4th floor and had a large luggage. Dragging the luggage and manuevering the narrow stairs was a true challenge. The room are really tiny. The shared WC was even smaller. There was supposed to be hot water and a radiator, which was not working the 1st night and the 2nd morning we were there. Room aside, the hotel is at a really convenient location - just 5 minutes walk from the main station and all tourist attractions. There is an organic cafe across from the hotel that serves wonderful coffee and croissant. Not sure if I would stay here again though I would say the hotel rates are good and fair.

Budget hotel for budget traveler

Inexpensive, good location

i chose to stay at this hotel mainly to save money. i stayed at the single budget room, which is very small. restroom and shower room is shared facility. but they're kept clean. from the centraal station is only 5 minute walk, and to the dam is about 10. i would recommend this hotel. but there is no frill nor thrill about this hotel, just a room to sleep in.

Great location. Narrow staircas

10 mins away to the train station

No happy with the hotel staff services as one of the male staff was rude to me when I spoke to him courteously. On the other hand he was very polite to a Caucasian. is he racist? By the way, I am a Chinese
Restaurant Tip: Nice restaurants around this area

Not too bad stay

Location

Location of the Quentin Arrive Hotel is ok, a bit far from train station than I expected, but still in a walking distance. A supermarket two blocks away is a plus. Cleanliness is alright. Security can be better. Staff at reception should ask name of the guest everytime before handing out the key. Should have elevator. I had a room on 4th floor, and the stairs are sooo narrow. All in all an ok stay for the price I'd paid.

réceptionniste la plus désagréable

emplacement
4.3
