Good location
Good facilities, most for free
Helpful staff
I stay here frequently because it is well located and normally good value compared with other hotels at Schiphol. I like the swimming pool, complimentary Internet and frequent airport shuttle.
I would like to see more fresh food in the restaurant but this is a general problem at Dutch hotels. I would also be happier if the bathrooms had shampoo.
Hotel Feature Tip : Internet is free across the hotel.

Despite the size, check-in was quick. The room was also huge although the facilities are actually fairly basic. I liked the swimming pool and the food in the restaurant has improved considerably in the past two years. I had an argument with one receptionist who had a terrible attitude but everyone else I met was extremely friendly, helpful and professional- and happy.
Restaurant Tip : Good quality and value dinner.
Breakfast choice is also good.

Big rooms , huge breakfast selection , free bus to and from airport , friendle and welocming staff
I used there internet cafe there as not travelling with laptop the cost is 10 euro for 45 minutes which goes to their internet provider
I was using this hotel as a stopover for 1 night only and as a single traveller it was a most welcoming and relaxing time. I was able to get free bus from airport which was there waiting and the staff were freindly and efficient. It is a big hotel. My room was generous in size and the bed consisted of 2 single beds joined together. This was not a problem for me but on my arrival somone was complaining att eh front desk about this. I would stay there again to relax use the pool and to enjoy the wide and lavious breakfast that was provided.
Hotel Feature Tip : Would bring my own laptop and use wifi rather than the internet cafe

Friendly, well trained staff.
Overheated, no possibility to change temp settings.
Unusually large rooms, large restaurant with excellent menu. Breakfast caters for all continents and is always fresh. When you stay a little longer and would like a change of menu just cross the road and at 100 meters you will find a Churrasco type of restaurant, a KFC, a sandwich bar, a Chinese buffet restaurant and a do it yourself continental restaurant. Furthermore there is a large petrol station with newspapers, snacks and other car related items.

Cleanliness, breakfast, service.
Location on the A4 requires a turn-around on the A4 to get to it. Still a small problem for the advantages it has.
This hotel has put it together nicely. I found the service level to be very good. I did not use the dining room except for breakfast. The breakfasts were wonderful with a lot of variety. The hotel is well-run in my view. Small problems were rectified right away. The shuttle service is a real bonus if you don't have a car. Considering the price that we paid, it was well worth the price.
Hotel Feature Tip : shuttle service

Near airport, free shuttle bus, flexible hotel - they allowed me to have early check-in since I was just staying for the day without staying overnight. Also allowed me to have breakfast on the same day I checked in since I checked in very early in the morning. New, well maintained hotel. Excellent breakfast.
There is nothing that I disliked about this hotel.
I will recommend this hotel to people who are transiting in Amsterdam.

The room is large, and very clean. Big screen flat TV you could enjoy. Shower booth and wide bath are separated. Breakfast is very satisfactory, and also there are several restaurants you could choice in & near the hotel for lunch and dinner.
Generally, their service level is very low - slow and unfriendly. There are only 1 shuttle every 40 minutes which transfer between the hotel and airport.
The hotel does not locate next to the airport, so that make you wait extra minutes for the shuttle bus - 40 minutes interval. But it also provide you with the lower price comparing to the other 4 star hotels. Pity point is their unfriendly and slow service although they have enough number of stuff. Breakfast is excellent - very fresh, and delicious. If you are not staying for sightseeing in Amsterdam, but only stopping to spend a relaxing time for the transfer, it will be nice enough hotel.

large hotel, nice well stocked restaurant. and very very easy to get to from hotel.
nothing that i can think of.
the hotel was very nice and clean, and also the staff was very very courteous. the rooms were adequate and there are plenty of them so no danger to selling out. also the shuttle from the airport was very easy to find and very quick and spacious.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : you can get back to schipol airport and then to downtown very quickly by train. (45 mins)

The great quality of rooms, restaurant abd staff
the POSSIBLE noise from aircraft, although not late evening
The A4 hotel, situated about 200 metres from the busy A4 Motorway, just south west of Amsterdam airport is a great place to spend your late evenings during a weekend away to watch the finest team in the world! the lavis decoration of the enormous lobby welsomes you, drawing you to the helpful staff at Reception. Once given your room key, you are pointed in th direction of the rather sumptious room, every on with a balcony, to start your few days of luxury. On awaking, and sampling the delights of the power shower, you are treated to a delightful beakfast in the restaurant.
Nightlife Tip : take a trip into town, the metro to Amstel Station, and take the short walk north up the Amstel towards the Hesp.....great beer, great jazz...a great night!

This hotel is very close to Schiphol airport. I seems to cater for travelers to and from the Netherlands most. \nIt is highly efficient in its organisation, both for the overnight guests and visitors to the many function rooms.\nThe rooms are exceptionally large. Equipment is more than adequate.\n
Once a year my wife and I visit Holland for a week and we have found this hotel most suitable for our needs: located very near the airport we never fear to be late for departure - Holland is notorious for its traffic jams - or suffer in case of late arrival. Its vast parking facility is free for guests. The \"bridge\" across the motorway has four more independent restaurants plus hamburger joints, for greater choice.\nThe whole hotel is now smoke free, including the rooms. Smoking in your room will cost you € 250 in cleaning fees, so one makes sure to stay outside on the (large) balconies.
Shopping Tip : \nschiphol airport has a large selection of excellent shops, within five car minutes from the hotel. They are open every day, including sundays, therefore very easy for last minute shopping. The Hotel shuttle bus will take you there free of charge.

The hotel is great for the single or couple, but when half of Italy descends on the place, watch out. They tend to forget that when they organise a tour they should get their own transport to their bases.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Should note the train and shuttle bus schedule and make more time allowance for the return trip to hotel. We nearly missed the last bus because of the train delay.
