My stay at the hotel was fantastic. Upon arrival as I was early they went out of there way to get me into a room as soon as they could, was much appreciated after a 20 hour flight. The beds and pillows have got to be the comfiest I have ever slept on, amazing. And as for the location, step out the front door and your right in the middle of everything, great restaurants, Dam square, and shopping. Next time I am in Amsterdam this will be my hotel of choice.

Fantastic location, a few minutes walk from central station only. I don't even have to take a tram if going from central station. It's just close to everything, including those coffeeshop and red light district which first time amsterdam travelers must see.
However, the view of my room was really poor, I can see right into the shop of next door. So i just keep the curtains closed at all time.
One big minus is there is no free wifi. That is the main problem I can think of. I believe not offering free wifi to customers are out of the trend but..

Was just ideal for what we wanted, reasonable price for Amsterdam, we had a nice quiet room, and Amsterdam was at our door, turn right for shopping, left for the old town.

Central location at Dam Square

A real value for money for a hotel that is centrally located at dam Square. not the typical 5 star chain as other Swissôtel worldwide but it is good enough. The hotel has an elevator. Nice pillows and blankets. Free refill of bottle water everyday plus chocolates. Overall very satisfy.

I have stayed for two nights in January.
The location of the hotel is just in the heart of Dam. Everything is just few minutes walk from the hotel.
The room was clean and organized but the size was small but this is normal in Amsterdam.
I would come back to this hotel in the future.
