This is a budget friendly hotel suitable for backpackers, tourists and the undiscerning leisure traveler.
The guest rooms have a minimalist flare and all include basic amenities like televisions, central air and heating, private bathrooms and sitting areas. This is a quaint accommodation as there are only 15 guestrooms available. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Van Gogh and Rijks Museum and also near the Holland Casino and Bulldog. The hotel’s bar and lounge is a great place to start or end an evening. The concierge desk and 24 hour front desk make for a convenient stay at the Vincent Van Gogh Hotel.

The best feature of the hotel i it's location
The weaknesses of the hotel are many...look at the review:
On entering the road, the area in which the hotel is located makes you think that it was going to be something special....it wasn't! Whether it has recently been taken over and in a state of transition, I don't know...but I will never stop there again! The hotel has a nice entrance...but is that false? The corridors were dirty, sand being evident in the carpets; the room was very small, the bed even being the "wrong" way and not compatible to the TV; the table in the room, although no-smoking, showed many cigarette burns; the shower was almost non-existent as a feeble, non directional flow of water was all you got; the electrics is the room were completely insafe, everything coming of one plug; the room was over heated, there being no way of reducing this, apart from opening the window..which let in the noise; the toilet was almost mobile....I could go on even further...

Good location. Nice staff.
Very poor breakfast, very small room, not so clean.
The hotel is very close to all the important museums and to the Liedseplain coffee shops.
The hotel offers a very poor breakfast. The room is very small and the tv set is so small and so far from the bed that can be hardly watched.
Neverthelees, the staff is very gentle.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to all the important museums.
