A Weekend in Delft
very convenient location; close walking distance to historic center, restaurants, cafes; attractive location facing canal, garden at back, quiet rooms

My wife and I were very satisfied with this small, friendly and well-maintained canal-side hotel in the historic center of Delft; within easy walking distance of the architectural and historic sites of Delft, as well as the main restaurants and cafes. The base for the canal boat tours is very near the hotel.
There are two attractive dining areas, where breakfast is served; the canal-side room with huge and well-preserved ceiling beams and traditionally decorated, as well as a new and well-designed area with window walls looking into the hotel garden. Both areas are light, airy and cheerful places for breakfast.
The double room we had overlooked the garden on the second floor. It was quite large, with two full-size windows. The room was very tidy and well maintained. It appeared to have recently been updated. The furniture was functional, but its plain, contemporary design gave no echo of the historic nature of the exterior of the buildings that make up the hotel and the district the hotel is located in, and was therefore disappointing.
The hotel represents very good value for money.

Ik was zeer aangenaam verbaasd door de vriendelijkheid, met name nadat ik een glas rode wijn over de prachtige witte dekbed liet vallen. De kamer meisje was zo lief. Ik schaamde me kapot.
De kamer was gezellig. De koelkast was nuttig.
Koffie en thee op de kamer werden op prijs gesteld, want ik was de laatste dag niet lekker en hoefde niet naar beneden voor ontbijt. Ik kon op mijn kamer blijven.
Ook de badkamer was leuk. De shampoo etc waren zeer goed (spa).
Ik probeer overal de producten te vinden, helaas, zonder resultat.
