Be warned though, the deluxe rooms give you a canal view...which is lovely, but actually that comes at a price because the rooms are right over the road that passes along the canal. The pizza delivery bikes buzz up and down this road till quite late at night, the sound amplified by the water below and the houses opposite. We could not be offered another room as the hotel was full. We had booked (asking for a very quiet room) a while back and would have appreciated an email saying "you can't have a quiet deluxe room". Never mind. All was well as we had enough wine to keep us asleep and cured the hangover with the great breakfast on offer there. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Delft is a great place, after Bruges it just seems so friendly and cool. Better food and nicer people. But do visit old and new (1326!) churches and the Convent museum (fabulous) also consider using Delft as a base for visiting the Hague (cheaper and much nicer)

The first moment I stepped in, I knew I would love staying there. The staff (especially Emilie) were friendly and helpful. It's in a strategic location, not far from places I loved to visit again and again. The room was small but it had at least SIX sockets, something that I've never seen in other hotels rooms I've stayed so far. I could re-charge all my gadgets at the same time! I would love to go back there!
