i stayed in hotel van walsum for 2 nights. i am very satisfied with my stay overall. the location is good, about 4 tram stops from the central station and is in a quite area, but close to the main shopping area and the attrations of rotterdam. the breakfast is also good and make a good start for the day. the wi-fi is free and the connection is good. rotterdam is small and can be reached on foot. the museum quarter, close to the hotel, has a few small museums worthy of visit.
