Located near the canal, along which a lot of restaurants are located. Given it is a university town, quality of food is just average. Parking was a 5 minute walk, and costs 30 euros per night.

Hotel located across from train station. Close to city centre and plenty of restaurants. Walking distance to museums and other attractions city has to offer. Room was unusually large. Internet was not included but offered for free in the lounge.

Nice, no frill hotel in a great location. Located across train station and close to restaurants and other attractions. Walking distance to city centre and museums. Room is very large with a small patio. Wifi is not included in the hotel rate but offered for free in the lounge.

Quiet room with small balcony, central location, 5 mins to Central station Utrecht

Its a pretty straightforward no fuss business hotel. Very clean. Very quiet. Comfortable enough with no general complains. I guess for that price and the comfort of being right in town in Utrecht and also the fact that its so near to the Central station... no fuss, no frills. Don't expect the Four Seasons. Free WIFI in common lounges.

central hotel close to everything

It was the second time I stayed at the Apollo in Utrecht. I chose it because of the central location. It is very close to the train at Utrecht Centraal, also many buses run from the same place: you
cross a small square and then go through the Hooge Catherijne shopping mall.
Also very close is the Oude Gracht (old canal) with numerous restaurants, cafes and clubs.
This time I got the normal room, which in fact was better than the executive last time. That looked over the inner court, this on the other hand was on the 5th floor, had a balcony and looked over the square.
Buses shake the building a bit, or maybe it's the construction site just opposite.
Didn't try any food, nor breakfast. Hotel is clean, room quite big. Internet packages priced outrageously.

In the center of the center

the hotel entrance is hidden beside a quick food restaurant, i almost walked past. location is very good, 3 minutes walk from oudegracht, 2 mins from central station. my room wasn't ready, but i got upgraded (for extra fee) to executive, which was ready at once. clever trick you can say, but it was 9 am and i needed to rest before afternoon work.
this executive room was just beside the elevator, still really quiet. view to some ugly rooftops, but also to the tower of the domkerk.
breakfast wasn't anything extra special, but nice and enough: usual scrambled egg, bacon, large cheese selection, and all the things you expect.
checkin/checkout was quick, efficient, front desk really helpful and friendly.

I stayed for one night when I went to a gig at the Tivoli. It's in a great location, very convenient for the city centre. I'd go again

The hotel is very well located, you can find everything within walking distance. The room was clean and good sized and the staff quite friendly and helpful. The lounge offers good atmosphere and relaxation. Internet and breakfast quite expensive. Quite noisy too; not much soundproof!

The location was beautifull. hotel was very nice with excelent efficiant staff. breakfast was very good to very relaxed atmosphere. good size rooms and baconies i would defoo reccomend this hotel to anyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
everything is very close but can be niosy at weekends.

Decent hotel in good location

Had a short stay in this hotel in March 2011.
Hotel was located a short walk from the train station & close to the city centre of Utrecht.
Lobby was a little small & so was the lift, staff were helpful & friendly.
Room was large and had all necessary fittings.
Overall the hotel was pretty decent in a good location, but compared to other accommodation i had in Holland i dont think it was good value.
