Lovely hotel with good service

the hotel is located ~ 10 minutes drive from the roermond city center inside the national park. the hotel is pretty nice however is rather old. we try the restaurant and it was pretty good. excellent service and hopefully, they can remodel and maintain the hotel a little bit more.

Boshotel Vlodrop is zeer gunstig gelegen voor rustzoekers,wandelaars en fietsers die willen genieten van de "De Meinweg".Daarmee is ook het belangrijkste USP geschetst. De hotelkamers zijn schoon,geluidsarm,maar bieden niet de mogelijkheid om zelf even een kopje koffie of thee te zetten.Drie nachten inclusief ontbijt voor € 170,-- voor twee personenen is een uitstekende prijs kwaliteit verhouding. De receptie zou meer aandacht kunnen besteden aan de USP van het hotel. De meeste pariculiere hotelgasten komen voor het nationaal park "De Meinweg" Benut dat gegeven dan ook. Het restaurant laat helaas te wensen over. De bediening is vriendelijk,maar ontbreekt de noodzakelijke vakbekwaamheid. De kleding is te onappetijtelijk om aan te zien. Dat doe je je personeel niet aan. De keuken maakt zich er vanaf met groothandels producten. De menu kaart is te beperkt. Het verrassingsmenu is een combinatie van de kaart.Helemaal geen verrassing dus. De verantwoordelijke kok moet echt op zijn beroepseer worden aangesproken. Ook hier weer het bekende waterfestijn. Als je niet allert reageert word je opgezadeld met dure Bru,terwijl het kraanwater hier zo lekker is. De verse asperges waren overigens overheerlijk. Het kan dus wel.

Het Boshotel Vlodrop is perfekt gelegen in de bossen met prachtige wandelmogelijkheden. Het hotel is geopend in 1986 en ondanks een forse uitbreiding waaronder een binnen zwembad en een nieuw sleutel systeem met pasjes mogen met name het cafe/bar gedeelte maar zeker ook het restaurant wel eens gemoderniseerd worden. Ondanks dit een goede service en "value for money"
