Obviously it's the setting on the fjord. It would be difficult to find a more beautiful setting. The manager went out of her way to help us and she was both professional and friendly.
Our room needed work. There was tile laying on the floor and it wasn't very clean. We were moved to another room but it still wasn't very clearn.

Good rooms, organic food, Fairtrade souveniervarer.
The hotel has no rooms specially equipped for disabled people, but unless you have very specific needs it may well be possible to stay at the hotel.
Cozy hotel with interesting architecture. The hotel is disabled if you do not have very specific needs. The hotel offers an exciting cuisine which features locally produced foods. Used many organic ingredients like hotel deal in Fair Trade products in their souvenir display case. The hotel is within walking distance from Flåmsbanen. The hotel's new building is an exciting piece of architecture built in a mixture of stålkontruktioner and strong glue bonded timber beam in 4 floors. Right at the top up a small room overlooking the mountains around the whole horizon.
Restaurant Tip : Uses many local and organic food and matched with Fairtrade products.
