The cafe has served traditional Norwegian food for more than a century. The first cafe opened in 1901 with traditional carved and painted wood-furniture. Some of the original interior is on display at the Norwegian Folk Museum at Bygdoy.

The hotel is very centrally located in umidelbar proximity to Oslo's main parade street Karl Johan. Short way to the tram and the subway. Walking distance to Oslo's central train station and airport express train to Gardermoen Airport. Hotel is very recently renovated and rooms have a very good standard with bla.gratis innternett connection.
Nightlife Tip : Located within walking distance of most night clubs in downtown Oslo

Good location Ok standard, good shower / bath
Some noise in the breakfast restaurant
Can definitely recommend this hotel. Not least due. its very central location. Short distance to all amenities and a short distance from Oslo Central Station. The rooms are good (the benefit that the floor is not carpet-plated). Bath / shower facilities are fine. Relatively newly refurbished. Nice reception and operation. The hotel had overbooked by our stay. Had to be content with a single room with extra bed. To compensate for this we got a free accommodation in a double room!
Shopping Tip : Start the road from the hotel, go down to Dublin City.
