Not what I expected

I booked this hotel because it was advertised as an apartment hotel, and anywhere else in the world that I've stayed in one, it was exactly that, with all the amenities I needed to feel at home. I was told by Agoda that everything was included. Of course, as a single traveler, I booked a single room. When I got there, I got a tiny room with barely enough room for a bed, and the kitchenette was in the hall, shared with another room.
I had to work and there was no desk space (or place to sit and eat), and there were no kitchen utensils of any kind. Also, there were sticky glass rings on the bedside table – not great cleaning job. I went down to ask for kitchenware, and complain about the desk. I was told that it would be an extra 150 NOK (around 45 Euros) a night to get kitchenware. This defeated the purpose of trying to save money by cooking in the hotel – between the price of groceries and the kitchenware, I might as well just pay at a restaurant. I also had overheard a man who was charged extra for his linens, which he obviously hadn’t been told about in advance.
However, because I needed a desk for work, and the room did not provide one, I was given a new room, which was much larger, with a sitting room, separate bedroom, private kitchen, and large bathroom with an all-in-one clothes washer/dryer. I still could not cook, but there was a microwave (although I personally don’t use them). The internet was usually good, although I had to get a private code from reception and keep entering it each time I turned my computer on. This larger room actually had soap and shampoo in the bathroom, which was not the case in the smaller room – interesting that solo travelers get shabbier treatment than larger groups, or those who can pay more. I didn’t use the washer/dryer, but I heard a woman in reception complaining that hers wasn’t spinning or drying her clothes, and the guy just said “No, it doesn’t dry.” So why does it say it does? Reasonable price and easy access

Value for money, studio room has a mini kitchen and cooker however it's too small to cook afte fitted in so many wardrobes and only with two plates and cups. The hotel room is clean and tidy with a balcony as well. If you pre order your breakfast one day before you will get a discount too I would say this place is cheap for Oslo. They should consider to make the hotel sign a bit noticeable on the outside.

Smart looking hotel, clean and comfortable

We stayed in a three person room, it was very clean, a good size room with comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Although it has a small kitchen, big fridge, cooker and microwave, there are no pans or cooking implements or plates etc. We hadnt planned on cooking as just needed a 3 bed room but dont make plans to cook unless you bring your own kitchen equipment or request from hotel (believe there is a charge).
Is a little out from town centre but close enough to walk.

We had a nice stay. The only minuses could be the noize from the street, it was hard to adjust the room temterature into something comfortable and few or none of the staff spoke Norwegian or even good English. (Staff other than the reseption)
Only on our arrival we found out that the breakfast was not included in the price. Sparse breakfast (Must fill up food baskets faster)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Edward Munch museeum and the Subway next door.

Nice hotel, good location

The hotel was in a good location - only a minute or so of a walk from the metro station and only about fifteen minutes' walk into the centre of town. It was good value for money too - nice large and clean room with a great little kitchen. Would stay here again if I were back in Oslo.

"Great location but small rooms"

I paid breakfast for myself and my wife in advance. On next day, my wife was sick and didn't eat it. I asked them to be reimbursed but it was refused. I totaly understand the diference between a no show in a Hotel and a difference in a breakfast. I am very disapointed with this action by them. I will never stay there again.
