This is a hip new design hotel that offers a new take on Scandinavian innovation, located in the city center. Within a few minutes� walk of the Castle, Karl Johans Gate and the harbor, the First Hotel Grims Grenka is one of those avant-garde hotels complete with Asian fusion restaurant and rooftop bar that consistently makes the social pages. Rooms are minimalist and stimulating in design with intelligent lighting, generous fluid spaces and natural color schemes and fibers - all very cool and contemporary. Wifi, flatscreen TV and what the hotel dubs a �maxi-bar� (a minibar on steroids) are offered in each room as is a rainshower and an iPod dock. It�s a five-minute walk to central station from here, Akker Bridge five minutes in the opposite direction.
