Norsk wilderness surrounds this mountainside retreat 20 minutes outside of Oslo. Bearing remarkable resemblance to an alpine cabin, the Soria Moria is the classic lodge-stye getaway in the midst of pine forests and craggy outcrops. The property�s business facilities and remote location make it an obvious conference venue but travelers who just want a quiet vacation in pristine environs will find themselves equally as well catered for. Food is of a gourmet standard - even the minibar is stocked with local treats - and the Scandinavian a la carte menu changes regularly. To get into Oslo city center from here, there�s the �trikken� tram station a 15-minute walk away and guests should allow around 30 minutes for the picturesque ride into town.
