fantastic accomodation

we just got back from a 2 week stay in one of the 2 bedroom suites. the accomodation is great, very spacious with a large living room and master suite complete with a walk in closet. bathroom has seperate bath and shower. 3 lcd screens, one in every room. we booked through agoda.com and got a fantastic deal. i disagree with what some of the other people wrote about the staff. we found them to be exceptionally helpful and friendly. on two occasions we had a minor problem (internet and tv) and within 5 minutes we had a technician in the room to fix the problem. this resort has 3 problems, not enough choice for breakfast (2*), slow internet and the lack of cleaning. they remove the garbage and change the towels but there is absolutely no cleaning. we had some horrible brown stains in the corner of our shower and the cooking plate still had stains on it from previous guests (as we never used it) despite of this we would still go back as you really get value for your money because of the size and comfort of the accomodation. you do need a car. as carvoeiro is quite central we made different trips everyday and managed to cover most of the algarve in 2 weeks.

Fantastic Villas

These villas were really 5 star. Absolutely superb accommodation

Its the first time we have stayed at a hotel that lived up to the online pictures. Rooms were marble tiled with own TV (three TVs in the villa!). Bed was big and kiddies single beds (two of these) in the kids bedroom. The kitchecn was first class and all amenities were provided. Hotel staff were quite cordial too. The breakfast wasn't anything to scream about and so after the first day/breakfast I just had all my meals in the fantastic kitchen we had. I would strongly recommend this hotel but remember you must have a car. The supermarkets are just 8 minutes drive down the hill. The beaches are within 20 minutes driving distance of the hotel. Dinner prices at the this hotel were just too expensive but its near the sea so the fish is much cheaper than the UK. We ate fish every day. Example: 2 Kg of big Shrimps cost us £9 at the nearest supermarket (Pingo Doce)
