Great location and a friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. The room was clean.
I really didn't dislike anything. It is not a fancy place and the cable tv was not the best, but it was fine and the location made it ideal.
The hotel is located right off the Placa Figueroia, which is a very central location. It is easy to get the Metro, trams and trolleys from here, so it's a great transportation hub. It is also in the center of downtown, so it is within walking distance of all major sites and neighborhoods, and with its location as a transportation hub, it is easy to get to any site that is not within walking distance. The free breakfast buffet had fresh fruit, delicious breads, good coffee, and after staying in Portugal for 9 days, I realize just how good the buffet was, in comparison with other hotels. I spent very little time in my room, but would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Restaurant Tip : There is a small restaurant row called San Antao, and there were two particularly good restaurants: Cafe Bonjardim (roast chicken) and Casa de Alententejo, which specializes in regional cuisine and is in just a beautiful building and there is even a great gift shop for ceramics.
