Groups Canada, February 14, 2013	Perfect spot to stay Great location, rooms and staff 9 this place was convient and close to the tour bus which makes it a lot easier for you to travel around and see the city. the hotel was clean and very nice. great view of the square. restaurant below was good. breakfast was lovely in the mornings. staff were very kind and helpful. would stay again there.

Solo travelers Malaysia, February 13, 2013	Run diwn hotel in the city of Porto The hotel has an ideal location, which allows easy access to Douro RIver, De Se Porto, Sao Bento metro station, good pastelarias and restaurants. 6.3 The rooms are run down and the furnishing needs an uplift. There is free Wi-Fi at the lounge and both computers were out of order for awhile until the hotel staff gave it a temporary fix! Breakfast was alright but overall, not the best of hotels.

Couples Canada, January 23, 2013	Great location, nice rooms, clean and comfotable Location, great people on the desk 9.3 porto is a beautiful old city...it can be cool and rainy during the winter, but there are few tourists so you can have the sights to yourself. the aliados hotel is a perfect place to take advantage of all porto has to offer. Travel tip: The Guarany Restaurant in the hotel is one of the best in Portugal. great service, fabulous food, and! As a bonus, free live music...Fado on Saturday night.

Couples New Zealand, January 15, 2013	Good Location location, friendly staff, close to bento train station 8 unable to check in until 2pm on the dot, however were able to leave our luggage in a secure room. hotel was in a convenient area, close walking distance to all attractions. staff spoke good english and were friendly and willing to help. rooms were comfortable, and bathroom was large. no in room safe which was disappointing. Restaurant Tip: We found good food in Porto was hard to find, However we were recommended by TripAdviser to try Atunes, a family restaurant (not far from the hotel) that specialises in pork knee. The meal was huge, but lovely.

Couples Hong Kong, December 12, 2012	lovely hotel with fair services great location and nice room 8.7 stay one night in Porto (we should stay longer as Porto is nice place), hotel aliados is located in the centre area of Porto, go everywhere just by foots, every places in Porto are worth to visit. Breakfast included better than average. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Porto is such a good city to visit

Solo travelers Belgium, September 20, 2012	Rooms OK, bad service. central location in porto. 4.3 the service in this hotel is almost non-existing; reception staff (all 3 different people i spoke with) were arrogant, unfriendly, and not helpfull at all (strange, because portuguese people in general usually are lovely). there is no room service, although otherwise mentionned on their website. breakfast buffet is very limited and so-so, 100% the same every day : upon taking a coffee from the already-paid-for breakfast buffet to my room, i was simply told they would charge me extra for that. rooms were ok and clean though.

Couples United Kingdom, May 11, 2012	Comfortable, central, convenient Central position is a real bonus, staff were very helpful and informative. 7 our fifth floor room with balcony was comfortable, spacious but the decor could perhaps be refreshed. the big disappointment was the breakfast where the choice and quality of the food was frankly poor. this is a major area for improvement. by contrast, the restaurant downstairs was good with a lively ambiance and entertainment including an evening of fado.

Solo travelers China, March 17, 2012	not beyond expectation perfect location 6.3 I have selected a room with balcony while booking with agoda, but was told that there was no balcony room left when I arrived. But finally I was able to get a room on top of the building with windows which is fine. The bathroom is really not satisfying...The location adds value to the hotel. Breakfast is quite poor considering it's a 3 star hotel.

Couples Canada, December 16, 2011	great location, convenient access to the city Centrally located, decent room size, clean, cheap and everything you need 8.7 the hotel has decent breakfast, and it has an agreement with the parking garage just beside the buiding. when we were there, the hotel was under renovation, but they were trying to keep the noice at minimum. the only thing is that they charge too much for the internet, and there is no really other wifi place in the surrounding area.
