The Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel recently underwent a three-year refurbishment and now offers modern amenities and contemporary decor. There are two fine dining venues available for guests. Benihana Teppanyaki Restaurant and the Avalon offer international, local and Japanese cuisine throughout the day and be sure to enjoy the full breakfast buffet each morning. The more health conscious guests of the hotel may utilize the onsite fitness center after a large lunch or dinner. The hotel has a currency exchange counter available for those that forgot to switch at the airport. Navigating the city is fairly easy as car rental, taxi and limo services are available through the hotel. The multilingual staff, parking facilities, and wake-up call services all promise a pleasurable stay at the Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel.

This hotel has a very good location and very good name in Bucharest but it is not really a 5 stars hotel. I got it for a reasonable rate, so I can be satisfied with it, but if you have to pay its usual rates, then it is not worthy. Facilities are ok, room (standard) quite small and decoration really functional and with no any attractive for 5 stars. Service: average.
