Couples Australia, July 29, 2011	Great Location and comfortable stay location, comfortable clean room with good air con, business lunch at adjoining restaurant 8 we spent 5 nights in this hotel in heatwave conditions and it was a joy to get back to our spotlessly clean and light and airy room each day and be able to cool it instanteously with the efficient air conditioner. great location - 15 mins walk from arbat metro, 30 mins stroll to kremlin, wonderful outdoor cafe and the church where mr and mrs pushkin were married 2 blocks away, the heart of the diplomatic area a few blocks in the opposite direction to the kremlin (which we didnt find unfortunately until our last day). breakfast at the adjoining restaurant was fair but their 3 course business lunch until 4pm was excellent value. staff were always friendly and helpful. the lifts are old and remarkably noisy but effective!good free wifi in lobby and restaurant and computer rental if needed. we would definitely stay here again.

Groups Mexico, September 16, 2009	Melody Hotel - Moscow, Russia good value for money, fine location, nice breakfast 7.3 Considering prices for hotels in Moscow, the Melody Hotel is an excellent aleternative for budget-minded travelers. While this property is not as well located as hotels that cost three times as much, the Melody Hotel is just four to five blocks from both Arbat Streets. If you enjoy walking, you can reach practically all major attractions in the center of Moscow in no more than thirty minutes. In any case, various subway stations are within ten to fifteen minutes` walk. The hotel offers a complete breakfast that you are sure to enjoy, but you might become eager for a bit more variety after three or four days. The hotel is in a very quiet residential area. Standard rooms are neither overly spacious nor excessively small. All in all, we were very satisfied and would recommend this property strongly. Staff are fluent in English, and smoking rooms are available on request. Restaurant Tip: Plenty of restaurants are available nearby on Old Arbat Street and New Arbat Street. The hotel does not exchange foreign currency, but banks are available on both Arbat Streets.
