Located a quick and complimentary shuttle ride from VDNKh metro station (from which point It's less than 30 minutes to the Kremlin), the Maxima Slavia Hotel is in a quiet residential area close to the Russian Exhibition Center. Including business and leisure amenities (like a Turkish bath and solarium) the hotel offers modern, airy rooms and provides Russian and European meals from the Slavia restaurant. Nearby, guests can pick up some interesting Russian goods at the local hypermarket or undertake an ecological day-trek through Losiny Ostrov Park to see some elk or spotted deer frolic in their natural habitat.

Solo travelers Hong Kong, September 10, 2012	everything is fine, except the location friendly staff, reliable and efficient service 7.7 The only bad thing about this hotel is the location: the nearest Metro station is about 15 mins away by taxi (about 600 Rubles per journey). The hotel offers shuttle bus service to the station, but it only runs Mon - Fri, 0730-1830. Miss one bus and you have to wait 1.5 hrs for the next one. Other than that, the hotel offers a very good service for its price: friendly English-speaking staff, well stocked-up breakfest buffet, clean and comfortable rooms, free wifi (with speed sufficient for most). Also, unlike other budget hotels, they register the foreign guests with the local Police free-of-charge, for which you would get a temporary ID document. When being stopped by the Police & demanded for ID document, you could use that instead of your passport. I recommend this hotel, if you have no problem with being far from the local public transport.

Solo travelers United States of America, August 28, 2012	Very clean, good breakfast and next to a market Great professional service 9.3 I stayed here for 3 nights and found it very comfortable. TV has plenty of Engligh-speaking stations, bed and bathrooms are very nice and clean, albeit a little small. It is conveniently next to a supermarket with a food court and other services. There is even a currency changing ATM machine which offers pretty competitive rate. And there is a shoe-polishing machine for use for free. Breakfast is simple but plentiful with healthy choices. The location requires a shuttle, which is free during weekdays. If not, you will have to take a trolley bus to the metro station. For the money, it can't be beat.
