a very well situated hotel in the centre of the city. the rooms are extremely small but perfectly adequate for a single occupant. well fitted modern bathroom with shower attachment, excellent free wifi. best take a room with a street view, the courtyard aspect is grim.
breakfast was good and all of the staff i encountered were friendly, especially the charming and helpful receptionists.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Flushed with outstanding attractions, palaces, churches and wonderful buildings everywhere.

Good Service and Great location

For short trip or long weekend break to St Petersburg the Aston Hotel is a good option being situated a few minutes walk from Nevesky Prospect, one of the main city streets.
The rooms are small and would be a struggle for a couple for a longer stay but they are perfectly functional and with good modern bathrooms including bath and shower attachment.
Breakfast was ample with a buffet spread of cold foods and pastries and cooked meals on request.
The Reception staff were extremely helpful and the taxi drivers they summoned were excellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Too many fabulous attractions to visit over just three days, the city and outlying areas are stuffed full of them ! Advise to arrive at least 30 minutes before opening times as the queues will be long.

Довольно милый отель в самом центре Санкт-Петербурга, очень вкусные завтраки, хороший персонал.
Несмотря на расположение в центре - очень тихий.
Недостаток: очень маленькие номера.

Маленькие номера, и мне было холодно, но выдали обогреватель, и интернет не работал три дня в номере, на третий день сделали)))) В меню ресторана есть постное меню))
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Можно погулять по улицами, вблизи много достопримечательностей и красивая старинная архитектура)))
