minimalists dream
new, great location, stylish

stayed here for a night and splashed out on a suite. have got to say that i loved it, although it is very minimalistic, masculine stylized place, and not bijou at all!
room was huge, bathroom too and all brand spanking new. we were on the top (3rd) floor and had a great view of the castle. we had a nosey in some of the other rooms and they all looked very big and fancy too, although some haven’t got a castle view, but are quieter as they face away from the busy main road the hotel is located on.
location is tops, as ljubljana is pretty small and you can walk to anywhere in the centre within 10 minutes anyway.
check-in took ages (the lobby is tiny, there is only 1 elevator) and we couldn’t have breakfast in our room although it was offered to us initially. staff kept making the excuse problems were due to the newness of the hotel, and i give them the benefit of a doubt as they were very welcoming and eager. at our stay they were only open 6 weeks (gym and spa were not open yet either) and to be honest they have to iron some issues out.
i am confident they’ll get there, and if given the chance i would love to stay again and recommend it…that is if you are into the whole minimalist look.

short walk away (like anything in ljubljana), great views, and the snacks we had were decent too. teh remaining original features of the place are ace (check out the staircase)...

Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Madelsaufenhalt, waren zu dritt und haben uns die Suite gegönnt. 65 m² mit zwei großen Bädern einfach super. Die betten sind super, haben herrlich geschlafen. Die Getränke der minibar sind bei der Suite inkludiert. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und das Personal ist extrem freundlichbund hilfsbereit. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt - jederzeit wieder.
