It exceeded our expectations. They offered us breakfast because they had a problem with hot water. Just 10 minutes walk from the Ramblas and very handy for the metro.

Nice hotel in a convenient location

Abba Rambla is a nice hotel located very close (5 min walk) to the Rambla and La Boqueria. Some of the surrounding alleys seem a bit shady at night, but if you stick to the main streets you don't need to worry.
The room was small but clean and tidy. The beds were firm but OK.
Our main concern was that they had turned of the AC at the time of our visit (late October), even if it was still very hot and humid outside. We asked the front desk about his but he said there was nothing they could do. Since we got a room towards the inner courtyard, opening the window didn't do much for ventilation.
Also, we got a smoking room even if we had requested a non-smoking room. The room wasn't smelly at all so that was OK for us, but if you're sensitive make sure to double check this in your booking.
Overall, this hotel gives you good value for money.

Abba Rambla is located in the perfect area where there are plenty of retaurants, bars and things to do. It is very vibey. The hotel itself is very clean and staff are friendly
The rate is also evry reasonable.

The location (Raval) is a very slam area. The shops, cafes are all very below the average.
The room is not clean even dirty. When we arrived, the mini fridge's top is dusty, there are some dustballs on the floor, there is a hair on the bathroom wall, there is a cigarette in the thrash box and also one at the one-step balcony.
We always keep the window open, but we could not get rid of the smell in the room.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Was presently surprised. Not expecting hotel to be so clean and loved the decor inside. Very posh. Hotel staff extremeley friendly and willign to help. We were on a road trip through Europe and had been in Nice and Geneva prior where the accommodation was not as good so just loved it.

el hotel muy bien ubicado, el servicio,sobre todo nocturno com muy poca educación a la hora de quejarnos por la iluminación del hotel, fuimos mal atendidos.
las señoras de la limpieza por la mañana muy temprano(8:00 )haciendo las habitaciones hablan muy fuerte y no te dejan dormir.
escepto estas dos cosas hemos recibido un buen trato en general y la ubicación es perfecta aunque en la zona vivan personas de diferentes puntos del mundo, pudimos pasear por la calle principal sin problemas.
Shopping Tip:
Portal d'Àngel, Portaferrissa, Ramblas y varios restaurantes para comer y cenar muy cerca del la zona del hotel.

Nous avons sejouné dans cet hotel pour un court weekend à Barcelone.
Facile à trouver, proche des ramblas, accueil du personnel excellent, chambre propre, logé coté petit rue très calme, prestations de qualité.
