No coffee machine in room; breakfast not included in the price
The hotel was in a perfect location. The doorman was very helpful in giving us directions to Sagrada Familia and what buildings to look out for on the way. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Since we only stayed one night we did not use any of the other facilities and the restaurant was closed so we cannot comment on that
Travel tip : The hotel map shows that the airport bus stops just around the corner to the hotel. It no longer does this you have to walk to the Plaza Catalunya to catch the bus.

Location is very convenient for tourists.
Hotel is very clean. Service is good.
Free drinks from room refrigerator is very nice.
Room rate is decent for weekdays.
Not too many TV channels for movies.
Prices are high for weekend stay, therefore we did not go back to stay after we came back from San Sebastian.
My daughter and I stayed at AC DIPLOMATIC for 4 nights in Sept 09. The hotel is just one short block from Passeig de Gracia; across the street from Gaudi's Casa Batllo; one block from Gaudi's Casa Mila; one short block from Tourist bus stop; one short block from Metro station; 4 blocks from Plaza Catalunya which is the hub of tourist center and also the start of La Rambla street. It is very nice that AC Diplomatic is not on a busy street as La Rambla but it is at short approximity to most main point of interests.
When we booked the room, we requested a room with 2 separate beds. At check in, such room was not available. We were upgraded to a larger room with 2 beds the following day. Since we booked the room with breakfast included, breakfast is excellent.
Drinks are free in the room. That is very nice.
Room rate is decent for weekdays. However the rate is high for weekends.
The pool at the rooftop is tiny but deep.
Restaurant Tip : Tapas restaurant, named Tapas Tapas, is very decent in price. It is just one short convenient block from hotel.

Requested a high floor quiet non-smoking room. Room was quiet in relation to road noise etc but walls were a little thin so some noise from other rooms was heard.
Nice pool (very small) and deck area.
Good breakfast. Very clean. Handy for airport train and most attractions
walls were thin so noise from other rooms and cleaning staff could be heard in mornings.
This Hotel is conveniently located close to Passiege De Gracia which has good access to regional and aiport trains. It is also a nice area wich feels relatively safe.
Hotel was clean and tidy but a little dated. Breakfast was included and was atipical spanish affair with lost of meat and cheese, good quality.
Free Wifi i lobby but must pay if you want in the rroom.
Restaurant Tip : if you want a break from Tapas the buffets in the area were pretty good and had loads of Salads.
