High on wow factor, this design hotel sits between the city of Barcelona and glimmering waters of the Mediterranean. Across from the shops and convention areas of Diagonal Mal this sleek and shiny hotel has both the beach and the city at its beckoning. The AC Hotel Barcelona Forum by Marriott is ultra modern in every respect and of course offers extensive business-related facilities, including a hi-tech business center. Rooms and suites are similarly slick, many offering expansive views over the Mediterranean views that can also be had from the pool and sun deck, a glamorous venue where basking and bathing must be done with designer accessories. Guests will enjoy a complimentary mini-bar in each room. Restaurants and shops can be found on Diagonal Mal but why limit the evening to one location when the city and Las Ramblas are less than ten minutes away.
City TaxFor all guest bookings with period of stay from November 1st 2012 onwards, a city tax must be paid directly to the hotel during check out for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
5* Hotel: A city tax of 2.25 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona and Catalonia;
4* Hotel: A city tax of 1.10 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona (0.90 Euros + VAT in Catalonia);

Great value business hotel, great rooftop gym/spa
Efficient, friendly staff. Clean room, huge bathroom. Rooftop gym and spa with beach and city views.

Near metro, good value, short walk to beach. Very happy with my stay. Easy transport to airport, train/metro in, €32 taxi back
