this is a hotel with small apartments, with kitchens and small lounge areas. its very clean and well maintain. the staff are very helpful and polite. it was very central and easy to get to. we were allowed to leave our luggage on arrival and on leaving while we visitied the city. we were given a bottle of bubbly on arrival on the house. tthere was small patisseries availlable during the day as well as coffee in a lounge area. although it was a short walk to major attractions or transport to the attractions it was very quiet in the rooms. the breakfast was plentiful with a huge variety of foods, fruits, breads, meats, cereals, drinks, pattiseries etc.

The hotel is not in the centre of the tourist district, but it is only a 5 minute tube ride away. Tube station (Les Corts) is a 2 minute walk away. This is a mini apartment not a basic hotel room. The room is exceptional, it is easily the largest we have stayed at and includes a large sitting area with a couch and mid size glass top table with 2 chairs. You also get a kitchenette which includes a fridge , 2 hotplates, kettle, and misc plates and cutlery. The bathroom is large and also includes a bidet, if relevant. The apartment is refreshed daily and unlike most hotels the complementaries include , soap, shampoo, bath gel, razor and foam, sewing kit, comb, and daily tooth brushes with toothpaste all securely sealed....even a disposable sponge when using the kitchen, and 2 small bottles of complimentary water daily.

What I like about the hotel is the fact that it close to the metro station and walking distance to camp nou, which is actually our main agenda in Barcelona.

We arrived very late. Due to weather situation, we arrived in Barcelona at midnight, while the schedule is 7 pm. We are exhausted and hungry. We are so disappointed to found out that the hotel kitchen is closed and no other open restaurants around the hotel. Next disappointment is to find that the room is very humid and dark and the bed is uncomfortable. We can't find water heat pot to boil water to make my daughters milk. Anyway, we sleep hungry on the first night. Nevertheless, we mostly spend time outside and comeback to hotel at night, very tired and could sleep in any condition.

Great hotel, location, staff. Just one but !
Close to everything, huge, clean rooms with kitchenettes, wonderful breakfast, terrific staff.

I was made to feel very welcome. The staff is great and attentive. The location is superb: a quiet street only 2 minutes walking distance from the Diagonal Avenue, a Barcelona main street, and also two minutes walking distance from one of two metro stations. Tram and buses are abundant. Huge "Corte Ingles" shopping mall 3 minutes away. And the Barcelona Football Club stadium is also very near.
The only real "but" I found is that since every room has a small kitchen, if the people next door are cooking, you get cooking odours in your room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Everything is close by. You can either walk or take abundant public transportation nearby. And for the coffee lovers, there are two, yes two Starbucks within a 5 minute walk.

it is a very modern and clean appartment hotel.It is not located down town but with very easy access to the metro,just 5 minutes walk. There is a big mall next to the hotel inside you can find big supermarket and bakery which is very convinient.

Este apartahotel moderno se encuentra junto a la avenida Diagonal, a 10 minutos a pie del estadio Camp Nou del FC Barcelona. Ofrece habitaciones amplias con conexión Wi-Fi gratuita, TV vía satélite y cocina.
Las habitaciones del Aparthotel Atenea Barcelona son elegantes y cuentan con suelo de moqueta, aire acondicionado, zona de estar con sofá y cocina con nevera.

Buena zona y servicio agradable

La zona no es demasiado centrica (aunque el metro esta al lado y son muy pocas paradas para el centro) pero es un barrio muy bueno, en la primera planta se siente el metro, los servicios son un poco antiguos, por lo demas esta muy bien, tiene cocina con los utensilios necesarios para cocinar y un pequeño frigorifico, y las camas son comodas, no hubo ruido del exterior a pesar de estar alojados en la primera planta.
Shopping Tip:
El corte ingles esta al lado y subiendo a la avenida diagonal y a la derecha a unos 800 m hay un centro comercial estupendo
