the hostel is strategically located, very short walking distance to the centre - la rambla plaza catalunya and the metro passeig de gracis, as well as other important roads - carrer diputachio, carrer arago, and many others. i was amazed by the clealiness of the hostel and the room, the warmth of the staff - namely maria. she was also very helpful to explain to us how to get to places and other stuff. truly, this hotel is above what we had expected.
Restaurant Tip:
For Muslim travellers who go for halal food, there is a middle-eastern restaurant El Peblo very close to the hotel which is along Carrer del Consell de Cent, that sells kebab, and also paella, among others.

Directions
Getting to the hotel is simple. From the airport, you can take the Aerobus which can be found in front of all the terminals. Get off at the Plaza Universitat station. You can also take the train from the airport and get off at Plaza Catalunya, but you will have to walk one street more. By underground, the stations of Plaza Universitat (Lines 1 and 2) and Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2 and 3) are the nearest. Plaza Catalunya station is also near the hostel (four streets away). The best option is to get off at the Passeig de Gracia station. If it is not possible, get off in Plaza Catalunya. But if your train stops only in Sants station, you will have to take another train and get off in Passeig de Gracia or take the third line of the underground and get off in Passeig de Gracia. If your are traveling by bus, Lines 7, 16, 17, 63, 67 and 68 stop in front of the hotel. Nighttime busses stop in Plaza Catalunya, as do a lot of the other diurnal lines.
