For all guest bookings with period of stay from November 1st 2012 onwards, a city tax must be paid directly to the hotel during check out for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.

5* Hotel: A city tax of 2.25 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona and Catalonia;
4* Hotel: A city tax of 1.10 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona (0.90 Euros + VAT in Catalonia);

Couples United States of America, May 06, 2013	Ok location, a smokers hotel Next to the Arc de Triomf, near to some nice restaurants, metro isn't too far away 6 We asked for a non-smoking room, but they didn't have any left. Most of the floors smelled of smoke, which wasn't pleasant. The restaurant didn't serve any dinner.

Fitness centre and swimming pool included in the price. 8.3 The hotel is not on a main road, but is close to the Barcelona nord bus ststion and the Arc de Triomf metro, so is not too difficult to find, and is close to the city centre and within walking distance of the beach. The outside is pretty unassuming, but once you step inside the quality of the hotel begins to show with the very well appointed reception area. Those staff members I had dealings with were very polite and helpful. My room was very nice and spacious, with air conditioning, a good sized bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The only negatives were no view from the bedroom window (except of other rooms), some water damage in the area of the air conditioning unit which hadn't been redecorated, and I did notice a couple of silverfish in the room. But all in all these were very minor minor things to me, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
