Please inform the apartments about the estimated time of arrival to arrange check in to the apartment. Arrivals should normally be between 14:00 and 21:00. For late arrivals guest will have to pay supplement of 25€ after 21:00 and 40€ after 23:00.
For the apartments a deposit has to be paid:
Apartment 2 adults: 150€
Apartment 4 adults: 150€
Apartment 6 adults: 200€
City TaxFor all guest bookings with period of stay from November 1st 2012 onwards, a city tax must be paid directly to the hotel during check out for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
5* Hotel: A city tax of 2.25 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona and Catalonia;
4* Hotel: A city tax of 1.10 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona (0.90 Euros + VAT in Catalonia);
Rest of Hotels & Apartments: A city tax of 0.65 Euros + VAT per person, per night in Barcelona (0.45 Euros + VAT in Catalonia).
This is an additional charge for guests over the age of 16 and it is NOT INCLUDED in the room rate.
Please note that check out should normally be between 08:30 and 11:00. Check out between 02:00 and 06:29 has an extra charge of 40 Euros and between 06:30 and 08:29 25 Euros

very problematic and unreliable staff

Few days before arriving, we confirmed our reservation via mail and asked explicitly for a double bed. The contact person agreed. We arrived on friday, to an apartment with only single beds and a broken sofa, only to find out the is no sirious contact person available until monday. We ended up sliping on two mattreses on the floor, as there wasn't any willing to help us and we paid the whole stay in advance.
BTW the pictures of the apartments does NOT indicate the places provided.
Very unreliable place. I would not recommend it

Great location and service, but noisy

The location was great - right in the middle of the pedestrian area, 2 minutes of walk from the Cathedral, 1 minutes from the Museum of Picasso, about 15 minutes walk from the beach, with numerous restaurants, shops right at your doorstep. The downside of it - it gets quite noisy (especially on weekends). The building and the apartment has a lot of character, though it does need some updating. The cleaning was somewhat patchy. It needs better dusting. The service from the agent was excellent though. She was very punctual and responsive. Once when we accidently locked ourselves out (forgot the keys in the apartment), she turned out within half an hour and let ourselves in. In short if you want to be in the very centre and do not mind noise and some sruffiness - it might be a good choice for you.
