Solo travelers Israel, December 13, 2012	not a good experience location 4.7 the location is good and rooms are clean BUT: 1. the facilities that are mentioned on the agoda page are not correct (no pool,no sauna, no functioning safebox and more...) 2. the hotel staff is not proffesional- not explaining the option of English channels on TV (there is an option, they just dont take a minute to explain you when you check in), not taking care of problems (not fixing an unlockable window)and the manager was rude, decrying and ignoring my complaints. At the end I stayed at a 4 stars hotel with no english channels on TV, no safebox in my room, a window that can not be locked and a very bad service. a waste of money, I believe that for this price, you should get much more.

The Cristal Palace was a good choice. The Internet access was very fast and free. I mention this because I later stayed at a five star hotel and paid a huge rate for bad Internet service. Also, I was pleased that my room was quiet. I heard from people staying at another hotel that their hotels were noisy. The price for the breakfast was reasonable. The only draw back was that the room was way too hot and the hotel could not cool it. The air conditioning works only in the summer. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: There are two Gaudi museums within a few blocks.
