Nice Hotel with Great Location
Within walking distance to many key tourist location but still away from the crowd

The hotel is new and located within walking distant to many tourist site. A very good restaurant sited in a Gaudi design building call Casa Calvet is just round the corner.
Restaurant Tip:
A little restaurant call Freixo just round the corner on the left serve good and reasonable price local food.

Great hotel in the center of Barcelona
Clean, close to the turist attractions in the center, very good breakfast

the hotel is very nice, located very close to la rambla, metro station close enough, the staff was very nice, breakfast was terrific... all in one, the best option to spend some days when in barcelona.
Hotel Feature Tip:
You can rent bikes directly from the hotel.

Shopping Tip:
Just 500meter walking to the nearest shopingstreet.

Great location, clean and modern rooms

We were very pleased with our stay. We were upgraded to a pool-side room, and the staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the shower. Hotel was walking distance to many shops and sights, but removed enough that the surroundings were quiet. Would stay here again.

Perfect for a short break in Barcelona

This was the second time my girlfriend and I have stayed in Grupotel Gran Vie and once again we were not disapointed.
The hotel is peacefull and quiet but is still only a 5 min walk from the busteling city centre of Barcelona.
The rooms are clean, the staff are extremly helpful and to add to it all there is a roof top swimming pool!
This hotel is ideal for a short city break in Barcelona!

Friendly, clean and best Value
5 minutes walk to downtown area, clean, friendly, average price

I was here transferring from another hotel to find better place to see the city. The staff was very friendly, Wifi is free (and fast !), and what I mostly like is that eventhough the rooms are small, they are clean and tidy.
Breakfast is relatively cheap and you will get acceptance here, staff's friendliness is worth more than what I paid for breakfast.
Overall, would come here again next time and recommend others to stay here.

Great location and fabulous breakfast
This hotel was 3 blocks from the central square and all the restaurants

the room was spotless and the bathroom large. we loved the comfortable bed and the welcoming drink the first night. would stay again!
Restaurant Tip:
Don't miss the restaurant Que Que on the Place las Glorias, really fun and good food.
