Second stay at this hotel. Best value for money modern comfortable hotel right at the heart of Barcelona on the Ramblas. Convenient for beach, harbour, buses, sightseeing & eating. Exceptionally friendly & helpful English speaking staff & nice breakfast buffet (extra charge). Rooms are smart & have spa baths, electrically operated beds, TV & complimentary Wi-fi plus there is a roof terrace with sunbeds. Great sightseeing base.

on arrival at our hotel, we were really impressed by the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble. loved the "complimentary" tea/coffee delivered to your room any time between 7am and 11pm - real bonus! rooms clean and well serviced - big bathroom and free wifi!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
we bought a two day pass for the tourist "hop on, hop off" bus which was great. spent the first day just on the bus routes marking where we wanted to go and the next day getting on and off.

Restaurant Tip:
Try the restaurants down by the seafront. Fantastic paella and sangria.

Travelled for my 50th Birthday celebration. A point which was immediately spotted by the check in staff who kindly sent a small bottle of Cava to our room. Great lively location but peaceful interior and quiet room. Would definately return.

Comfortable Hotel in prime location
Room was good size and staff were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel has character and is situated in La Rambla close to all the main tourist buses and metro.

the staff were extremely helpful and provided service with genuine kindness. the includes the reception and restaurant personnel. the room we had was adequate but did not have a view. however, that meant that it was quiet and we heard no noise from the crowds in la rambla.
we would highly recommend this hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hop on hop off bus is a must but the metro is goods value and easy to follow.

The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon early arrival after 24 hours' flights, we were expecting a check-in in the afternoon as usual. But they managed to find us a room immediately, which was an unexpected plus. The hotel is at the heart of La Rambla and very close to Barri Gotik. Lots of superb restaurants around and Plaza Catalunya was a short walk from the hotel. The room was clean with all the amenities. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location for exploring Barcelona
Being right on Las Ramblas made this hotel a great base for exploring the area

The hotel was very impressive and the Junior suite was exceptional. If you are looking for a 4-5 star experience while still being able to access everything that Las Ramblas has to offer this is the place to stay.
Travel tip:
Leave all your valuables in your room when you go exploring as the area has a very high crime rate. Or make sure you keep a tight grip on all your possessions. The hotel will NOT let you have any guests go up to your room at all so if you are there on business make sure you are happy to do business in the resteraunt or bar downstairs. I rented the Junior suite so that I could conduct the business meeting in the suite only to then learn on arrival that NO one else was allowed access to the room
