Location, location, location 6.3 We were pleasantly surprised with the modern, sophisticated look of the hotel and the free internet, coffee, apples and water bottles. However the hard floors throughout and the central 'shaft' design as well as paper-thin walls made for truly terrible sound insulation. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get a full night's sleep during my stay, as every time our neighbours entered their room, talked, coughed or drew the curtains it sounded as if this was happening in our room! On our 2nd day the coffee maker in the lounge area broke down and no alternative was offered. On our 3rd day the cleaner threw away one of my contact lenses which had been sitting on the bathroom shelf in solution next to the other lens. When I complained the staff's reaction was unconcerned. No apology, compensation or consolation was offered, not even free breakfast. It was very inconvenient for the rest of my stay, to say the least. The receptionist literally went 'pfff!' and shrugged his shoulders! Disgusting attitude. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Families with older children Canada, February 22, 2013	Great location, friendly staff clean rooms, welcoming staff, close to LaRamblas, shopping, restaurants and waterfront area 9 stayed in a regular double (with twin beds) room overlooking the courtyard. very satisfied with the cleanliness. breakfast was adequate. staff were very helpful with directions and giving tourist information. only problem was thin walls.
