For all guest bookings with period of stay from November 1st 2012 onwards, a city tax must be paid directly to the hotel during check out for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.

5* Hotel: A city tax of 2.25 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona and Catalonia;
4* Hotel: A city tax of 1.10 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona (0.90 Euros + VAT in Catalonia);
Rest of Hotels & Apartments: A city tax of 0.65 Euros + VAT per person, per night in Barcelona (0.45 Euros + VAT in Catalonia).

This is an additional charge for guests over the age of 16 and it is NOT INCLUDED in the room rate.

Ka Y. Solo travelers China, May 13, 2013	New and Nice Hotel with friendly staff Good language skill of staff, good vale for money, spacious room 8 It was a two night stay and it was very nice. The room was spacious(a twin room) The washroom is big and clean. The gym room gives a view of the city from the 17th floor( it has a sauna too, but I have not tried as male and female share the same sauna room)The hotel locates right next to Ikea and a big shopping mall, but if you are looking for good food you need to go out to city centre. There are bus stop and metro station close to the hotel, I mostly took bus as the metro system of Barcelona is quite confusing(you need to pay for two tickets to go to the city centre, because the two lines are operated by two companies..)the bus to airport is not frequent enough, it was horribly packed. But overall I would recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a comfortable stay with a tight budget.
Erica L. Solo travelers Singapore, April 01, 2013	Good in General but not centrally located Large room, nice bathroom & gym 6.3 I like the size of the room and the clean airy bathroom. The gym is small. It was empty during the four days I was staying there. The breakfast cost around 13 Euro if you informed the receptionist earlier. Bear in mind that the hotel is on the train line. So you'll need to change from Metro to train when communting to the city centre from the hotel.

Couples Greece, March 13, 2013	Highly recommended Big room, comfortable bed, very helpful staff 8.3 Me and my boyfriend decided to spend a week in Barcelona to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were delighted when we saw the room, very good size, clean and modern. It was also on the 17th floor which gave us a very nice view of the area! The staff was very friendly upon both check in and check out but also when we had questions on transportation and anything else we needed. What made us a very good impression though was the fact that on my birthday, when we came back to the hotel quite late, we saw that when the room was cleaned, the staff had left a piece of chocolate cake on the desk with wishes for a happy birthday. It's these little things that make customer service really special. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would happily go back any time!
