Basic hotel that will meet your basic needs

5 min walk to metro & Sagrada Familia
Near Carrefour Express for groceries and snacks
Next door cafe offers good breakfast at good price
Rain shower was nice
Tv channels allows multi language option
Cons.
On the small side. Minimal space left after opening your check in luggage.
Toilet was clean but cement floor gave a dirty first impression.
Little tv channels for non-Spanish speaking tourists.

Great location and helpful reception

As its name suggested, the hotel is located conveniently near Sagrada Familia. It only takes us around 5 min to walk to there. And the reception can speak good English, which is very important when you're staying in Barcelona. The reception is also helpful when we asked them about location of other places and they showed us with a map and even helped us write down the Catalan name of some buildings to avoid us from missing them. Overall this is a great experience and i am quite sure i will come back again.

Nice rooms but poor soundproofing
The rooms are big and the hotel is quite well located to the metro

We couldn't get a good nice sleep for 6 nights as the soundproofing was really bad; you can hear doors being slammed and people walking along the aisles early morning. The staff was also not able to provide accurate information for some of the attractions. e.g. we were given wrong directions to the bus stop to Park Guell (and we ended up having to take a taxi instead as we were so lost) and they didn't know that Picasso museum had free entry on Sundays after 3pm even though all I needed was for them to verify the information which I got through the official website for the museum.

Good location but basic hotel

have stayed here on another occasion and returned to familiar surroundings. was just as pleasureable. great breakfast to start our day. be careful of belongings even in this nice hotel.
hotel is about 3 blocks from sagrada familia (holy family) gaudi cathedral. must see. lines are long so go early so it doesn't eat up your day. head out about 8:00 am before tour buses arrive. you will still stand in line but a shorter one than later in the day.
have the address handy as many taxi drivers don't know the location. quite reasonable as compared to other hotels. we were on the sightseeing bus so much we really didn't spend much time in the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
At breakfast one woman went to the buffet and when she returned to her table someone had walked off with her luggage and purse. She was heading home but now hysterical and had nothing to back her up to travel. Someone said there was a man pretending to be on the phone looking for an easy mark. Could have been me as my handbag was in plain view at the same time. This happened while we were all at breakfast.
But the hotel was great. Just keep watch. It could happen anywhere.

We would gladly stay here again. It was great value for money. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. The room was compact but had everything we required and was very clean. It was perfectly loated for us to visit La Sagrada Familia.
