A good place to stay
Pleasant hotel with modern, well designed rooms, fast and stable, free internet and good location

From advantages I would also mention good sound insulation of rooms, nice selection of spa services, shopping mall and paella restaurant nearby. As a disadvantage I must mention relatively expensive parking. Also meals selection in hotel's restaurant could be improved.

Worst hotel experience for many many years

Bathroon sink blocked for 2 days, microwave in room didnt work so we couldnt make a hot drink as there was no kettle in the room. We did tell reception about this but they didnt seem bothered. The hotel is miles away from the airport a taxi cost 28 euros but going back to the airport the taxi chaged us 46 euros! The hotel had booked the taxi but refused to accept any responsibility for us being ripped off. We had booked a delux double room but the hotel wanted to charge extra to use the sauna or sun terrace.

Room is nice with microwave, convenint lcation to subway station. But there was a power cutdown from 2am tl 5 am for the last 2 days when I was inthat hotel, power suddenly went off without any pre-notification...
So I had to shower in dark with lights from my ipad...
Hotel should have informed indoor guests...
Nice beachside though.

Staff speak good English, room design is quite morden; there is a big shopping mall with supermarket near the hotel. Near to a metro station for Line4.
Unfortunately when I stayed in the hotel, the spa is under construction &
Though it is not good for girls walking around in the evenings esp. if you are alone (as a foreigner). Safe in the hotel, a bit far away to the airport though.

we really enjoyed our stay!the room was very clean, spacious and modern. the staff were very helpful with figuring out how to get to places and the views from the swimming pool are great. the breakfast was delicious and there was a very wide variety of food. the hotel is well located very close to metro, tram and bus stops. overall, this is a great hotel!
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurants in Port Olympic are fantastic!

A nice and clean hotel near the beaches
Walking distance to the beaches and Diagonal Mar(a very big shopping mall). Away from the usual and noisy tourist crowds. Lots of interesting and beautiful architecture in the neighborhood. Also a park nearbly was nicely built with lots of very artistic man-made steel structures.

We booked and paid for an Executive Double Room including free access to hotel spa and Executive Lounge on 15/Floor. Generally speaking, our guestroom was bright with big windows, nicely decorated, clean and good-sized.
However, the safe inside our guestroom was broken and the hotel staff told us that it could not be fixed. He suggested us to deposit our valuables into the big safe at the Front Desk. We found this very disturbing and inconvenient.
In addition, we also found the hotel quite a bit understaffed.
A few times the spa receptionist(who was also the masseur) was performing massage treatments for the hotel guests when we tried to access the water spa area. We had to wait until she finished her massage session(which is about 45 minutes).
At the Executive Lounge on 15/Floor, the food snacks were always missing. We were told by the Front Desk staff to call Room Service directly to refill the food snacks, but it would take them up to an hour to do it.

We had such good time in this hotel .. Our room very nice n a lot of space n staff helpful and good location is good near by shopping mall n beach just for 5 mins by walk. We will stay in this hotel again when we back to bacelrona again.
