For all guest bookings with period of stay from November 1st 2012 onwards, a city tax must be paid directly to the hotel during check out for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.

5* Hotel: A city tax of 2.25 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona and Catalonia;
4* Hotel: A city tax of 1.10 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona (0.90 Euros + VAT in Catalonia);
Rest of Hotels & Apartments: A city tax of 0.65 Euros + VAT per person, per night in Barcelona (0.45 Euros + VAT in Catalonia).

Couples Hong Kong, June 14, 2013	Friendly staff, large room, nice location Close to public transport, nicely decorated, fair breakfast 8.7 LOCATION: it takes about 15-30 mins drive (taxi) to go from the airport to the hotel (around €45-60 for 5 people); public transport is the other option [you can either travel by the metro (but interchanging is very complicated) or first by metro (to the centre of Barcelona) & then take a taxi to the hotel (but it can be complicated as well), so if there are at least 4 of you, taking a taxi may be easier. The hotel is close to public transport & restaurants. RECEPTION & STAFF: the receptionists and staff are very helpful and courteous. The staff do exactly what you ask for. CONDITIONS: the hotel is nicely decorated and well-equipped. There are spa, swimming pools (indoors & outdoors) and gym. ROOM CONDITIONS: the room and the bathroom is big and comfortable. However, the air-conditioning is not that good. Barcelona is quite a warm place and the air-conditioning is needed. Even after the repairman cleaned the filter, it was still not cold enough. BREAKFAST: the breakfast is fine. There are a variety of choices of food and beverage. WIFI: WiFi is available but it is slow. Report this review
