This hotel is ideally situated right in the heart of Barcelona amid the designer shops and trendy art galleries of the Passeig de Gracia district. The hotel houses an impressive 303 guest rooms which offer good views of the local area and come with modern amenities and spacious bathrooms. The Majestic Hotel also features a range of leisure activities including a swimming pool, fitness center and the excellent Majestic Spa which offers guests soothing massages and a relaxing sauna. The hotel also serves and excellent buffet style breakfast with delicious fresh coffee and there are plenty of local cafes and bars in the vicinity to sample.

Great location, clean, staff helpful, room available at 7:00 A.M. when we arrived. Nice roof with pool.

no full time coneierge, paper thin walls, closed pool and cocktail area at 7:00 P.M. without any prior notice other than that day for "routine maintenance"

We stayed at the Majestic for 5 days and 4 nights and overall it was fine. We stayed in the classic double and had a great rate thru Agoda. That is what made it worth while. Since we were out for 12 hrs a day touring and eating the hotel room was secondary and fine for showering, changing clothes and sleeping. If you want to be where the high end stores are - stay here for the$$ if you can get a deal.

Restaurant Tip : didn't eat at the Hotel at all. ( but had to put in review above) Go to Moo restaurant - excellent food and ambiance as well as there lunch. If you can take a 6 course tasting menu for 2 1/2 hrs then cinc sentits is a great cozy restaurant with super food and service. We would go back to both these place. Avoid Passadis De Barcelona as the waiter acted inappropriate to my wife (which I found out to late). the food just keeps on coming out. Thought it was prix fixe and it wasn't. Avoid. go to Crust a couple of blocks away for great breakfast and pastries. Just lots of outdoor restaurants to go to that are great and inexpensive. go to the big Market in Las Ramblas and eat at the bar in the back. ENJOY - we will be back Barcelona was one eating town.
