Good location, friendly staff but rooms were very basic and not very comfortable. wifi did not work in the rooms at all despite having told the staff a couple of times. breakfast was good.

Tiny room, no working WIFI on my floor (4th). WIFI worked on other floors, I noticed.
Staff was very friendly end helpful. Good breakfast with all the basics. Room was tiny but fitted my needs. No minibar in my room. Bathroom OK.
My window was facing the street but despite its central location it was very quiet, even on a saturday.

The hotel is located at La Rambla (well, not directly, but 15 seconds away) and is close to Liceu metro station (1 minute walk). The breakfast was good. The major problem I've encountered was the lack of Wifi connection from the room (the reception told me that the Internet was only accessible from the reception and first floor).

just 10-20 meters off la rambla and around 10-20 minutes away by walking from placa catalunya and the beach. i can't wish for a better location. the staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the city. you can get a 10% discount from a decent restaurant just next door (average-good paella and arros negre) by staying in this hotel, but make sure to present the coupon before paying.
great breakfast too, a decent selection of cured meat and fruits. the bread and pastries are not that good, but maybe because i was just from paris the day before where i ate parisian baguette and croissant for breakfast.
fast internet connection in the common area.

We got there and our room was very dirty. The bedding was not changed and the bathroom was not clean. When I went down to reception the staff member didn't want to assist me and said that we had to wait until the morning to speak to the manager

great location within ramblas area. Reception staff friendly & helpful. Family room looked larger on internet but was adequate for our family with 2 teenagers. Free internet access and wi-fi was a bonus as some hotels charge for service. Water constantly hot in bathroom. We were offered discount voucher for restaurant next door. We decided to try other eateries in the area but wished we had gone to the restaurant earlier as portions big and value for money! would definitely return to hotel.
