Nice hotel in city location

Modern and spacious room with large bathroom and balcony. 10 minutes walk from Catalunya Plaza, around the corner from Paseig Gracia train station. Convenient to use train to do sight seeing and plenty of food options around the hotel. Room had comfortable bedrooms, tv (which we did not watch), reverse cycle air conditionning and in room safe. Friendly and helpful staff, nice roof top pool area, small gym. Did not try breakfast as it was not included in our room rate but it cost 8 euros per person.
Shopping Tip:
If you live outside the EU and go to El Corte shopping centre in the Catalunya Plaza area, grab a tourist discount card from the ground floor which gives you 10% off everything except food and drinks. If you want to get the VAT refund you can go to the refund centre in the basement with all your receipts, abit of a wait but worth it if you brought heaps, ask for cash so you can collect it at the airport.

good location but lack of service equipment

We stayed this hotel for 3 nights and the heater was out of order for 2 nights. We felt cold every night until the third day they finally fix well.We asked the front desk to dial the local call for us for making a reservation and one of them answered me "their telephone cannot dial local call"....but another good man dialed for us.
The breakfast was very simple.
There is no hot pot, cups and tea bags in room.
Good location and easy to get the station.
