My room air-con was warm so I had to open the window which was great because the outside temperature was 16 celcius.
So my room temp was great after i open the room window for some fresh air. Won't be fun if it was summer!
Location was great for sight seeing and shopping!

Great locations and decent sized room

We arrived early and the hotel storage & locker facilities for our stuff. The staff were polite and also switched our departure day breakfast to arrival day since we would be leaving early. Most hotels will not allow this. Found out later that they also provide a packed breakfast as a option for those who leave early.
La Ramblas is a great location for tourists to stay - it's close to the beach front, has three metro stations close by is a great street to stroll along with all the tourist trap stalls on it.
The room & bathroom was bigger that expected for budget hotels in this location.
Hotel Feature Tip:
We had a room on the top (9th) floor rear side has an huge balcony with an amazing view of the city. I could see the Olympic stadium torch from mine.

There's nothing wrong with this hotel, really. It's just that the noise from Las Ramblas can be sort of overwhelming and the rooms might be a wee bit small. If you're up for the party atmosphere of the main drag, then there's almost no better option than this hotel. However, if you are looking for a relaxing stay somewhere then you ought to look elsewhere (probably avoid Las Ramblas altogether).
Nightlife Tip:
The Sports Bar (right next to the hotel).

well renovated room
Very convenient location in middle of ramblas

Rooms recently renovate and comfy...however poor lighting design. Ceiling lights shines directly into yr eyes when relaxing on bed.
Also hotel should provide Glass cups instead of Plastic cups which makes the Hotel looks cheap despite all the money spend on renovation.

The hotel las ramblas , as the name clearly indicates is greatly located on the lower end of the Las Ramblas, towards the sea. The Ramblas is the long touristic avenue in Barcelona.
I was afraid that the hotel might be too touristic with bad or no service...well, no, it was just as good as you would expect from a 3 stars hotel with a friendly staff, and nice rooms.
No regrets to have chosen to be directly on the ramblas, as my children ages 12-20 cpuld shop, go back to the hotel, re-shop etc , very easily.
Yes I recommend it.
