Central to site-seeing, restaurants, shopping and nite-life.... Decent breakfast
As a 3 star rated property, it was a bit of a let down.
Upon arrival at the hotel we were taken aback as we were expecting something nattier. It just sounded a bit grander in the discription in various sites. But after the initial disappointment the convenience of the location sort of made up and we had a good stay.

Property needs a makeover.
First impression was not very good but as the hours & days passed, I realised that the location was excellent. Everything is a few paces walk away. Saved a bundle on cab fare.

Hotel is a bit tired but for the money no issue.
Located 10 minutes easy walk from Las Ramplas this hotel has great location. Rooms are spacious and have comfortable bed. Furnishings are a bit old and natty but overall for the money this is a good hotel to stay in.
Barcelona, like so many European cities, can be a hit or miss when it comes to hotels and this one located so centrally in town is probably the best I've stayed in from balance of money/ comfort and location.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Round the corner of hotel is a great square to have morning coffee in and watch the world go by.
