Business Hotel at reasonable rates

Stayed at Salles Pere IV Hotel for 7 nights during a trade event.
Hotel facilities were decent, and rooms though small, had a nice european decor and were clean.
Location was not too bad, as there were two metro stations within walkable distance, namely Bogatell (nearer of the two, estimated 4 mins walk) and Marina which was further, about 10 minutes walk).
Staff were polite and helpful. And breakfast was pretty decent.
Overall, i enjoyed my stay in Salles Pere IV hotel, and would recommend this hotel for business travellers who are looking for a hotel at reasonable rates.

we arrived at our hotel after flying from ireland. we had booked a double room for the five nights. when we checked in there was no mention from the staff of any problems with our room. when we went upto our room, it was a twin room. this was not mentioned to us at check in. when we questioned this with staff they said there were no double rooms left. they allowed us to change rooms the nest afternoon, disappointed with this as the room was booked. even though we were guests in the hotel we had to give euro each for use of the swimming pool and spa.

I really loved this hotel, it's clean and have a very good service. Stayed for 3 nights during a business trip. It's location is in a very quiet area but with the beach only 15 mins away.

The hotel is quite near to the metro stop and very easy to find. There are many selections for food during the breakfast.

the hotel is a little bit far away from the downtown and some symbolic views. despite that, it was a good experience for staying in this hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
There was quite few people around the hotel during the night, and there was some walking distance from the metro stop to the hotel. If you are a single traveller or a woman, I advise you to go back to the hotel earlier.

well kept hotel, pity for the total lack of view from the room as it opened onto other rooms.
i do think a 4 star hotel should give you the safe key without charging but overall the hotel is fine for what you pay (wireless internet is included)
maybe 15 minutes queue to check out not ideal but it might not be a recurring thing.
lots of restaurants and bars within 10/15 minutes walking distance in one direction and the beach in another direction.
