I work in hotels for a living, and this place checked nearly all of my boxes. Great rooms, style, location, etc. The only thing I noticed was that the staff weren't trained to international standards (for that, go to Hotel de Arts in Barcelona), but this was minor. I would certainly go back to Sixtytwo. In fact, this will be my go-to hotel in Barca. Loved it.

A very nicely designed hotel. Clean, chic, easy access, very convenient location with shops, cafes, restaurants, metro nearby, within walking distance to some of Gaudi's "must visit" architecture. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi access within the hotel. Rooms with bathtub, pretty spacious. Nice view from balcony. Breakfast is good too. Highly recommend.

We spent part of our honeymoon at teh Sixtytwo Hotel and we loved it. I had emailed earlier to let them know that we were on our honeymoon and they had a really cute welcome sign drawn up on the mirror. The hotel also treated us to some delicious orange dessert and a free drink at the bar.
The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations.
We truly enjoyed our stay.
Shopping Tip:
This hotel is located on the main shopping street. Just walk up and down Passag De Gracia and you'll pretty much find anything you need. For bottled water, there's a grocery store just 5 mins walk away.

If this is a shopping trip, sixty two is a great location for branded products. However, it is a 15-20 minutes walk to La Ramblas. Walking back from La Ramblas to the hotel can be quite tiring.
It has some great restaurants around the hotel so eating around is not a problem. Hotel sofa is quite dusty. Other than that, the room is nice and modern.

paid for an executive suite. great location (next to metro station passeig gracia, casa batello and underground parking). hotel is very stylish and room is quite spacious. very well furnished (designer furniture, b&o tv, ipod dock, nespresso machine - i don't have to buy coffee for a change!). the staffs are friendly and helpful. the only complaint is that it was a little pricey for a 4*.
