4* Hotel: A city tax of 1.10 Euros + VAT per person per night in Barcelona (0.90 Euros + VAT in Catalonia);
Rest of Hotels & Apartments: A city tax of 0.65 Euros + VAT per person, per night in Barcelona (0.45 Euros + VAT in Catalonia).

We arrived at 10am upon disembarking our cruise ship and they arranged to have us checked in earlier, so nice! The interior of the hotel is great and the room is spacious. Just one con is that contrary to what other people say, the sound proof is not good at all so we have to use our ear plugs to avoid be waken up early in morning. P.S. The location is a 10 minute walk from Diagonal Metro Station, which is located just on the far end of Passeig d Gracia.

The Mirror Restaurant
Elegantly appointed, the serene and neutral ambience of the restaurant is in keeping with the use of white and mirrors throughout the hotel. The open kitchen, designed by Joaquim Casademont, allows the diner to enjoy the creative process as the dishes are prepared. The contemporary seafood cuisine, originating from the fish markets of the Costa Brava (Llancà) seduces the diners under the tutelage of the prestigious Chef Paco Pérez.

Seafood Creations
The restaurant reflects the spirit of Paco Pérez’s cuisine, with his special creations of rice, fish and seafood. His signature dishes include the seafood and sea cucumber "sucarrat" rice dish, moist rice with lobster and cuttlefish, clams à la marinière, sea cucumber, chick peas and cod tripe in a pil pil sauce, or oyster tartare "Oscetra" with caviar and a hint of apple.
