A lovely hotel in a historic building, located in the heart of the Jewish quarter. The 129 rooms and suites of the Conquistador Hotel are all comfortably furnished, feature spacious en-suites, and are well-equipped with all the modern amenities that today's traveller expects. The meeting and conference rooms are part of the ancient foundations of the original mosque, and make for a charming venue for those in the city on business. The hotel also offers a small coffee shop, and a wonderful restaurant, serving up a good selection of traditional, Andalusian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. The town itself is a delight to explore, with it's narrow, medieval streets and ancient architecture, offering visitors a glimpse into her glorious past, when Cordoba was the largest city in Western Europe, and a great center of learning.

Solo travelers Malaysia, June 04, 2010	Convenient fo0r the Mezquita A 2 minute walk from the entrance to the Mezquita 7.3 I stayed for three nights.The best thing about the hotel is its location. It is literally a stone's throw from the walls of the Mezquita and a very short walk from the entrance. The hotel is also convenient for other Cordoba attractions such as the Alcazar and the Roman bridge. The The room was on the small side and had no view. Bathroom was a good size though and the free internet connection was relatively fast. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Entrance to the Mezquita is free before 10 am and no tourist groups are allowed in before then.
Donald B. Couples United States of America, May 12, 2010	Excellent Location Right in the center of Cordoba next to Mesquita. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful patio for dining or drinks. Room was spacious and clean. 9.7 I thought this place was a great value. The hotel was full due to the Cordoba Patios occuring at the same time, but the staff kept up with the demands. The location can't be beat and the room was surprisingly quiet given its location in the heart of the city. The patio can be used for eating, or in the afternoon, drinks. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The Cordoba Patios event was a wonderful addition to the sights in the city
