This was a great place to stay if you like to be close to the major attraction! We could walk down (flights of stairs can be found) to town and the views along the way were amazing or cabs ran all the time if walking is difficult. This hotel also has a terrace restaurant where you can dine overlooking Granada as the sun sets!
Location....right across from the Alhambra!!!! Pool...it was hot when we visited so the cool water was great. Wireless if you have a computer or for small fee they have computers available.
busy, if this bothers you.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Explore and stroll through the park as you walk to town....so many little discoveries await.... fountains, old walls, patterned rock walk ways, old cobblestone streets and stairs leading down to the town! Also the best Sangria is just down the street at the Guadalupe Hotel bar!
great place in the quiet part of the city

Good hotel with friendly and helpful staff. To reach the hotel by car you will need a good map or GPS t guide the way. Otherwise ask for directions or follow the signs to the Alhambra/Generalife.
The rooms are spacious and surrounded by green, giving you the country feeling. Clean rooms with all the things you need. Good beds. In the hotel you can book all kinds of excursions. A mini bus drives down the hill into the city centre for little money. Ask the hotel desk for the bus stop.
For a visit to the Alhambra it is just a 4 minute walk. Not many people get this lucky, and have to take a heavy walk up (or down) the hill.
Car park under the hotel (valet parking) for 8 euros / 24 hours.
good location if you want to visit the Alhambra.
The hotel has a nostalgic touch.
Far from the city centre if you don't have a car.
- Nightlife Tip : Take a cab into the citycentre and visit the Arab-quarters.

Hotel provided excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations for a 3 star property.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I joined a 2.5 hour walking tour of the city at a cost of 10 euros. Tour commencd at Plaza del Carmen at 11am, earlier in summer. Very very interesting and a great way to see and learn about the city.
