It was a good thing that this room was inexpensive per night, because otherwise it would have been totally not worth it. With the exception of the buffet, this hotel left little to be offered. I do not think it is too much ot ask for to have an attentive manager, a properly working cooling unit, and honesty when it comes to Granada's most popluar tourist attraction. I would caution anyone who is looking for a good hotel to come here, unless you are stricly concerned about going to Spain on the cheap. This hotel was no better than a better quality hotel.
The free buffet was great, and a very nice suprise. They served good food and drinks, and there was plenty of it. It also lasted for 3 hours, so you could sleep in a bit, and still catch the breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious.
The hotel had advertised that it was near the Alhambra, when in fact it was a 40 minute walk or a 10 minute cab ride. If you want to go there be prepared for an 8 Euro cab ride. The Air Conditioner was not keeping the room very cold, I would classify it as mediocre at best. The hotel manager was rarely at his post, and anyone could have walked into the hotel and up to the rooms. When they were there they were rude and unaccomodating.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you really want to get in to see the Alhambra, make sure you get a wake up call for 5am, and be on line at no later than 6 am. We got there at 6, and we were not even in the first 30 people.

Location was fair, but within walking distance (15 minutes) of Centro.
