Alhambra across the street, car parking

I was recommended to stay here as it makes a visit to the Alhambra so much easier than most locations. The entrance to the Alhambra is a few minutes walk from the hotel. They have car parking at the hotel, and it can be reached fairly easily from the motorway around the city. There is a shuttle bus down to the city too.
Staff were helpful and seem to cope with the endless stream of tourists who stay a night or two.
Room was fine, good bathroom. Wifi was particularly efficient in this hotel.

Good front desk service and just a hop away from Alhambra.
However it's definitely not a 4 star rating and hotel
run down with basic amenities but not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel.
Beds are uncomfortable and the blankets too thin,
Bathroom doors etc peeling off,
Size of room is good though.

Better to find Alhambra ticket office.

Good location and facilities

This was a great sightseeing hotel as right next to the Alhambra. This is a little way out of the centre of town but there are frequent buses that you take you there and the Albayzin- which is lovely. It was great having a swimming pool too which I don't think is that common in Granada and the breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice Convenient Place for AlHambra
The hotel is a short walk from Alhambra Palace. The hotel is clean and adequately maintained. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is overall good and its prices are very reasonable.

We stayed in Alixares Hotel in February 10 for 4 days. We hired 4 rooms for 9 people. The overall experience was very positive. We did not encounter any bad experiences. The staff were always helpful and cheerful.The prices of food and beverages were very reasonable and the quality of food whether it was in the breakfast or dinner buffets was better than average and quite fresh and tasty. The level of cleanliness is good. The noise can be significant if there is a party which is not uncommon in weekends. The hotel location is close to Al Hambra with few minutes walk. It is about 20 min. walk to the city centre, but coming back is a steep hill. There is a bus service to the city centre. Parking is available at a reasonable fee. It would be nice to add some luxury to the rooms e.g. the box TV with few channels in Spanish can benefit from some modernization.

5 minutes walk to Alhambra
Very close to Alhambra and can have a hassle-free morning having to catch any transport to Alhambra, the main sights of Granada.
Good Breakfast, a wide variety of choices.

This hotel is within 5 minutes walking down hill to Alhambra, good for people that comes to see Alhambra in the morning. Amazed with the wide-variety of breakfast choice. Stayed 2 nights there, 1st night i was sleeping fine. 2nd night due to the noise came from the next door, only manage to sleep for 2 hours, sad.
Hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful to suggest places/routes to walk to.

Ideal location right next to the Alhambra. Walking distance to town was 15 minutes downhill but a bus service operated until late evening. Parking cost Euros 13.50 for 24 hours. Catering was geared to coach parties and the quality suffered. Tinned fruit and not fresh, stewed coffee, tired food left out for hours as a buffet. Room was starting to wear and needed a refresh. Lifts were in desperate need of a service or replacement. The weather in the evening was pleasant but you could not sit in the pool area to enjoy it - this was closed.

Great location w good breakfast but lousy dinner
Very near to Alcazaba de la Alhambra, a must place to visit in Granada.

The hotel is just 5 minutes away from Alcazaba de la Alhambra, which is an attraction that is compulsory to visit at Granada. The room is a bit small with limited facilities, similar to the other hostel that we stayed. We paid for buffet dinner and it really disappoint us. The spread is limited, the taste is lousy and drinks are not included. Breakfast on the other hand is good with more selection and drinks being included.
